About
I’m Mariana, a Brazilian designer, artist, and visual problem-solver focused on wellness, food and hospitality brands.
I’ve been working in the creative industry since 2012, helping businesses around the world translate their ideas into thoughtful, strategic, and visually compelling identities. Over the years, I’ve partnered with clients in Australia, the U.S., Dubai, and across Europe and Latin America — always adapting my design solutions to different cultures, markets, and challenges.
Raised between Brazil and Southeast Asia, and now living as a digital nomad, I draw daily inspiration from different cultures, textures, and ways of living. This global perspective is what keeps my work fresh, curious, and grounded in real human experience.
I support brands from the inside out — blending strategy, illustration, and artistic direction to create visual identities that are not only beautiful, but functional and emotionally resonant. Whether we’re building a brand from scratch or refining what already exists, my role is to bring clarity and flow to every step — so you can focus on what you do best, while your brand does the talking.
The Artist Behind the Studio
I've been drawing since I was a child, sketching on the backs of notebooks, painting with whatever I had on hand. At 15, I discovered acrylic painting and fell in love with large-scale canvases. At the time, I was living in Timor-Leste (Asia), where art supplies were scarce. I still remember importing everything from Bali (Indonesia) with my parents and building my own wooden frames with the help of my dad.
At 16, I held my first exhibition, a collection of acrylic paintings and a hand-cut wooden map of Timor. The event raised funds for a local NGO my family was starting, and with the sales we furnished the classrooms with chairs. That moment shaped me. I saw how art could move people, support causes, and connect stories.
Since then, I’ve explored a variety of techniques mural painting, photography, dyeing, clay sculpture, woodcut printing, but it was during a trip to Bali that I discovered watercolor, which became my favorite medium. Lightweight, expressive, and spontaneous, it fits perfectly with the way I live and create today.
My most recent watercolor series, Traveling Polaroids, is currently being exhibited in Denmark. It’s a collection of small-format paintings capturing quiet moments and places across the world, from Japan to Cambodia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Poland, and many others, all created during my journey as a digital nomad.
For a long time, I saw design as my job and art as my hobby. But over the years, I’ve realized that my greatest strength is in the integration of both, where my strategic mind meets my artistic soul. It’s in branding projects that I get to bring this blend to life.
